# How To Cook:

01 - Fill two old-fashioned glasses to the top with crushed ice, packing it firmly to ensure proper chilling and dilution.
02 - Add orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until thoroughly chilled and well-blended.
03 - Strain the mixture evenly over the ice-filled glasses, dividing the liquid between both servings.
04 - Slowly pour 0.25 oz grenadine into each glass. Allow it to settle at the bottom for a beautiful layered effect.
05 - Decorate each glass with an orange slice, a maraschino cherry, and a fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • You get all those complex tiki bar flavors without any alcohol or next-day regrets
  • The grenadine creates this gorgeous layered effect that makes everyone think you're a professional bartender
  • It comes together in literally five minutes flat with ingredients you can grab at any grocery store
02 -
  • Fresh lime juice is non-negotiable here—bottled juice gives the drink a weird metallic aftertaste that ruins all your other efforts
  • Traditional orgeat contains actual almonds so if you're serving anyone with nut allergies you need to seek out a nut-free alternative
  • The crushed ice really does matter—regular cubes will dilute your drink too quickly and won't give you that authentic tiki bar texture
03 -
  • Squeeze your limes at room temperature to get significantly more juice from each fruit
  • If your simple syrup has hardened warm it gently in the microwave for 10 seconds before measuring
