03 - 1/2 cup fresh coconut meat or unsweetened shredded coconut

→ Liquids

02 - Fill one-third of each ice cube compartment with blueberries and cover with enough blueberry juice to just submerge. Freeze until solid, approximately 1 hour.
03 - Once set, add a layer of coconut meat or a sprinkle of shredded coconut, then pour coconut water over until two-thirds full. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
04 - Top with chopped strawberries and fill each cavity to the top with strawberry or cranberry juice. Freeze until fully solid, approximately 2 hours.
05 - Extract frozen cubes and add to beverages such as lemonade, sparkling water, or cocktails for decorative chill and festive color.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everyone will ask how you made those gorgeous cubes — even the adults will grin when they spot them in their glass.
  • They take next to no effort but look like you spent all afternoon on a secret Pinterest project.
02 -
  • If you rush the freezing between layers, the colors bleed instead of forming sharp lines.
  • Using silicone trays makes releasing the cubes a breeze and keeps your layers neat.
03 -
  • Let the tray rest a couple minutes before unmolding so the layers don’t crack apart.
  • Chill your drinks in advance, so the cubes don’t melt before guests spot their colors.
