Chewy, sweet balls blending oats, peanut butter, chocolate, and seeds for a perfect bite.

# What You Need:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (90 g)
02 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (15 g)
03 - 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (30 g)
04 - 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed (16 g)
05 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds (20 g)
06 - Pinch of fine sea salt

→ Wet Ingredients

07 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (125 g)
08 - 1/3 cup pure maple syrup or honey (80 ml)
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# How To Cook:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, stir together oats, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and sea salt until evenly blended.
02 - Add peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract to the dry mix. Fold thoroughly with a spatula until the mixture is uniform and sticky.
03 - Using heaping tablespoons, scoop and roll the mixture into balls between your hands. If too sticky, chill for 10 minutes before shaping.
04 - Place the formed balls on a tray lined with parchment paper.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They come together in one bowl with no oven or fancy equipment needed.
  • The texture is perfectly chewy with little bursts of chocolate in every bite.
  • They satisfy a sweet tooth while actually keeping you full for hours.
02 -
  • If your peanut butter is too thick or natural and separated, the balls will crumble instead of stick together.
  • Don't skip the chilling step or they'll fall apart the moment you pick them up.
03 -
  • Wet your hands lightly with water before rolling each ball to prevent sticking.
  • Use a small cookie scoop for perfectly uniform sizes every time.
